Below are start dates for the upcoming academic year. Full tentatively approved calendars will be posted publicly on Friday, June 5 and will be voted on by the Board of Education at its next meeting on June 10.

Preschool Traditional Year: August 14, 2026
Preschool Year-round: July 10, 2026

K-12 Traditional: August 17, 2026
K-12 Year-round: July 13, 2026

Hayward Adult School Summer Session: July 6, 2026
Hayward Adult School Fall Session: September 8, 2026
