Family Child Care
Our CCTR-Family Child Care Program is available for children ages 0-5. Families must meet both the eligibility and need criteria.
Family Child Care Eligibility Criteria:
- A current aid recipient
- Income eligible (see table below)
- Experiencing homelessness
- A member of the household, counted in the family size, is certified to receive benefits from any one of the following means-tested government programs: Medi-Cal, CalFresh, The California Food Assistance Program, The California Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), CalWORKS
- Children are recipients of protective services, or have been identified as being abused, neglected, or exploited, or at risk of being abused, neglected, or exploited.
Family Child Care Need Criteria:
- The parent/caregiver is employed
- The parent/caregiver is seeking employment
- The family is experiencing homelessness
- The family is seeking permanent housing for family stability
- The parent/caregiver is enrolled in vocational training
- The parent/caregiver is enrolled in an educational program
- The parent/caregiver is incapacitated
