Faith Ringgold Transition

HUSD has been working on the development of a fiscal plan due to the need to ensure financial stability. On February 25, the Board of Education approved a Fiscal Stability Plan that included several reductions and the closure of Faith Ringgold Elementary School. We understand this decision will have a large impact and likely raise many questions for our families regarding the next steps in the transition. 

To ensure that we are able to address all of the needs, school district staff have started planning next steps. District staff members will provide regular updates on the process to Faith Ringgold community members and offer opportunities to get answers to your questions. Information about the process, as well as an opportunity to submit questions, will be available on this website. 

We are also scheduling activities to ensure that we are communicating and supporting our families throughout the process. These will include:

District-Led Family Meetings 
Parents are invited to attend district-led parent meetings to hear more information about transfers, transportation, afterschool programs, special education services and other requests from parents throughout the transition.

Open House Campus Tours
Schools will be welcoming families from Faith Ringgold onto their new school campus. Families will experience a campus tour, meet and greet staff and have the opportunity to see the campuses in person. See below for details.
