Middle School Bridge To College

Pre- enroll in the Bridge to College Spring 2021 course today to make sure you reserve your spot!

Pre-enrollment for Spring 2021 Bridge to College is now open to middle school HUSD students! To be enrolled in one of the courses that will be offered, parents/guardians must register their students through YEP.  All pre-registered students will then be contacted to complete the Chabot enrollment process.  The deadline to pre-enroll is November 6, 2020.

Bridge to College is the only program in California -  and possibly, the nation - designed to provide college & career exploration to HUSD students beginning in the 7th grade through 12th grade.  In partnership with Chabot College, instructors provide courses, directly after school, to expose students to the rigor of college-level classes and instill in them that college is possible!

Bridge to College allows students to complete college courses while they complete middle school or high school.  The course and books are free of cost!

To participate, students must:

  • Be enrolled in 7th-8th grade at the time of enrollment;

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher;

  • Complete the YEP and Chabot College online application process.
