YEP Summer 2025
Elementary Summer
This summer, the Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) proudly served over 1,100 students across Burbank, Fairview, Lorin Eden, and Tyrrell Elementary Schools!
From designing paper helicopters to building skyscraper kits, students immersed themselves in hands-on, camp-style learning focused on STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art, and math. We also took the fun beyond the classroom with unforgettable field trips to the Century Movie Theater, Oracle Park to cheer on the Giants, and the stunning Monterey Bay Aquarium.
To close out the season, we brought everyone together for a joyful picnic day filled with games, laughter, and delicious food.
THANK YOU to our incredible students, families, and dedicated staff for making this summer one to remember. We loved every moment—and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Soccer Without Borders
This summer, around 80 amazing 5th–7th grade students from HUSD kicked off summer with an exciting YEP Soccer Camp full of learning, teamwork, and fun!
Led by skilled coaches and our awesome YEP Program Leaders, students built their soccer skills—focusing on footwork, ball control, and game strategy—all while learning the power of collaboration and sportsmanship.
Off the field, students tapped into their creativity by designing their own custom shirts and ended each day with thoughtful reflection, celebrating their growth both as athletes and individuals.

STEMulate Summer (Middle School)
This summer, YEP had an amazing time serving over 160 rising 6th–8th grade students at Winton Middle School!
In the mornings, students dove into Mathematics and English Language Arts academic enrichment sessions to prepare for the upcoming school year. The afternoons were packed with hands-on enrichment activities like DJing, podcasting, silk screening, skateboarding, and more.
Throughout the program, students kept the energy going with rally-style team games and competitions!
Students also attended two unforgettable study trips to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
