Measure I
Measure I is a $205M school safety and construction bond measure that was placed on the June 3, 2008 ballot. Measure I sought to improve safety and learning by constructing, furnishing, and equipping school facilities; reconstructing, rehabilitating, or replacing deteriorating schools; and providing security systems, new or modernized permanent classrooms, land for construction, wireless technology, and access for individuals with disabilities. It passed by a vote of 72%.
