Custodial Department

The Custodial Department is part of the Business Services Division and is dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment for all students, staff and visitors.  Our team of skilled professionals works diligently to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all school buildings.  

Our Responsibilities Include: 

Daily Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, dusting, trashing out and sanitizing surfaces.  

Building Maintenance: Performing minor non-technical repairs to building and fixtures such as replacing screws, replacing lights and repairing the tools used by Custodians. 

Safety and Security: Conducting regular safety inspections, addressing potential hazards, and ensuring the security of all school facilities.  

Supporting School Events: Assisting with the setup and cleanup of school events, activities and facility usage.
