About The Superintendent

Born and raised in the East Bay Area, Dr. Jason Reimann has been an educator for over 20 years, and has served students and families throughout the Bay Area and Los Angeles. He is the proud father of two high school students who attend public school in Oakland. He received his B.A in Literature from UC Santa Cruz and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UC Berkeley.

Throughout his career, Dr. Reimann has been a dedicated advocate for educational equity and excellence. Creating lasting, impactful change has been a focus for Dr. Reimann, who has helped to form numerous programs to serve students and families from historically underserved communities. He works regularly with community partners, teachers and other staff members to provide the very best educational opportunities to all students.

In 2022, he was awarded the 2022 Marcus Foster Educator of the Year Award from the California Association of African American School Administrators (CAAASA), as well as the 2022 Valuing Diversity Award from the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA Region 6).
