CHILD ABUSE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Training for all Employees,

The training listed below will be set up through the Online Child Abuse and Mandated Reporter California Training Website.

This training is mandatory for all employees (classified, certificated, substitute).  The training is approximately 90 to 180 minutes. There is audio required for this program so please make sure computers are equipped properly before you begin.

This training is required yearly and will be due by October 9th or within 60 days of employment.  All staff with email assigned through the District will receive an email notification of the assigned training.

How to log on to the online training program:

  1. Go to Begin Training at the bottom of the page.

  2. When you have completed all 1-5 Training Lessons, go to Final Test and complete the required information template.

  3. When you have received the verification that you have passed your test, print your certificate.

  4. HUSD Human Resources Department will need a copy of your initial certificate.

  5. Please print your certificate, make a copy for yourself and mail inter-district mail or hand carry your certificate to the Human Resources Department. Please include your name, Employee ID # and whether you’re classified or certificated.
